Initial appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes to allow time to get to know each other and develop a collaborative plan.

 Your first visit consists of a mental health assessment known as a psychiatric evaluation. In psychiatry, this is similar to an annual physical assessment, with a focus on changes in your mood, thinking and behaviors. Additionally, your personal and family medical/psychiatric history, past symptoms, current & past medications are obtained.

Follow up appointments are 30 minutes, where we can discuss what is working or not working, make changes and adjustments according to your needs and mental health goals.

Although therapy is not our main treatment modality, we do provide supportive or add-on therapy if necessary. Collaboration with your current therapist is encouraged. If you do not currently have a therapist and would like help finding one, we are happy to give recommendations for one to fit your needs.

I accept Aetna, Cigna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (NJ residents only). I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Please reach out with any questions.

We charge a $75 no show fee.
